O escritório holandês Concrete Architectural Associates concebeu o novo Hotel CitizenM, localizado em Londres. O CitizenM de Londres, localizado em Bankside no coração de Londres e muito próximo do Tate Modern e das Millennium Bridge e Southwark station, apresenta uma atmosfera cosmopolita que valoriza, em todos os ambientes, o design do mobiliário e as peças de arte contemporânea. O amplo lobby do hotel ocupa grande parte do pavimento térreo e recebe os hóspedes com espaços muito bem resolvidos, onde peças icônicas de design de mobiliário estão por todos os lados, formando belas composições em equilíbrio com a arquitetura. É interessante observarmos os materiais utilizados pelos designers na criação dos espaços e como eles definem, juntamente com o mobiliário, a atmosfera geral. O branco das paredes e do teto, juntamente com o preto presente em paredes, forros e no piso polido e a madeira em um tom caramelo formam a base da paleta de cores do lobby, que funciona como um belo living e galeria de arte para os viajantes.
